2. Eligibility for Membership
1. Ordinary Members
   Whole time salaried teachers of the Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan
2. Non-paying ordinary Members
   Any ordinary member who is on approved study leave / on deputation to and from the University / has proceeded on leave for a period of three months or more.
   A non-paying ordinary member shall be entitled to all the privileges of ordinary membership except that his / her name shall not be included in the electoral list and to vote at the general body meeting and the elections for the office bearers and executive council of B.Z.U.A.S.A nor shall be required to pay the subscription.
3. Associate Members
   Retired ordinary members. Associate member will not be eligible to vote nor shall be required to pay subscription.
4. Honorary members
   Persons as may be rendering meritorious services to the cause of education. Such member will not be eligible to vote nor required to pay subscription.


3. Procedure for Becoming member
1. Ordinary Members
1. Submission of the prescribed membership form duly filled in or application on plain paper signed by the applicant, along with authority for deduction of membership subscription to Bank, to the Secretary of B.Z.U.A.S.A.
2. Deposit of Rs.50/- as first membership subscription in the account of B.Z.U.A.S.A. and handing over the receipt to General Secretary of B.Z.U.A.S.A
3. A member who fails to pay the subscription for three continuous months shall cease to be a member of the association. He / She, however, can resume his as a member only on payment of all the outstanding arrears. Such person shall not be eligible for fresh membership.
2. Non-paying ordinary Members
   Ordinary member shall become non-paying ordinary member automatically with effect form their proceeding on leave as stipulated in III-2 (b).
3. Associate Members
   Ordinary member shall become an associate member automatically with effect form his retirement form his service.
4. Honorary Members.
1. This membership will be offered on the proposal of “Executi9ve Council” of B.Z.U.A.S.A. with the unanimous approval of the “General Body”.
2. Acceptance by the proposed member.

2. Such other Committees as may be appointed by the executive council or the General Body form time to time.
