MISCELLANEOUS

  1. The association shall put forward each of its demands to the administration or any other party concerned in the form of resolutions passed through either in a session of the executive council or in a general body meeting.


  2. Some or all of the members of the executive council shall constitute a deputation to the administration or party concerned for putting forth its demands. The deputation will report the problems and arguments put forward by the administration or party to a General body meeting to be convened for the purpose.

    The General body will review the entire situation dispassionately and formulate a plan of action whereby the demands may be met with the maximum cooperation to the administration or party concerned without determent to the cause of the Association.

    A proper course of action shall be decided after due deliberation either in the General Body or by a sub-committee appointed for that purpose by the general body. The association shall attempt no to go headlong into any untenable stand or extreme measures such as strikes. Methods of cooperation, argumentation and convincing the decision makers will be preferred as behaves such learned body of intellectuals. A strike may be called only in a matte of dire importance when all other possible avenues for achieving the required end have failed.

  3. The association shall reserve its primary loyalty for itself i.e. it shall put the interests of the B.Z.U.A.S.A. above those of the federation of All Pakistan Universities Academic Staff Association and any other body / bodies with which it affiliates itself or with which it chooses to cooperate. The office bearers of the association shall not have the right to commit themselves to any course of action other than one for which they have received a mandate a priori and shall commit themselves to the decisions / programmes of the federation only tentatively in case of an issue o which an a priori mandate has not been obtained. Such commitments shall be binding on the association only after rectification from the General Body. Under no circumstances will the association submit itself to any action by the Federation or other bodies with which it affiliates if the action is in any way determental to the primary interests of the B.Z.U.A.S.A. or if it is in any way counter to the provisions of the constitution of the B.Z.U.A.S.A.
